Manifest MedEx Partners with HBI Solutions, Adding Real-Time Predictive Analytics to Health Network
PALO ALTO, Calif., Jan. 15, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Manifest MedEx (MX), California's largest nonprofit health data network, exchanging data for over 10 million patients, has selected HBI's Spotlight Analytics Solution to deliver predictive analytics to its participant organizations to help them identify high-risk patients for targeted care. MX chose HBI as a partner based upon their successful work in providing a broad range of analytics and predictive risk services for health networks across the country.
More than 200 healthcare organizations across California are connected to MX, including about 60 hospitals, four large health plans and results from LabCorp, Quest, and Radnet, all of which feed data to the MX network 24/7. HBI applies custom machine learning to this data, along with community social determinant data to create algorithms that run in near real-time to predict cost, admissions, ED visits, readmissions, and mortality. MX will also offer its members solutions for quality and performance measures, network management, and HCC/RAF analysis through HBI Spotlight Analytics.
HBI's robust applications and risk models process real-time predictions on the large breadth and scope of patient data for MX participants. The new service provides value to MX participants by supporting care management in their efforts to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs through early identification of patients at risk for serious health events.
