This represents approximately 10% of their 1 million mile pipeline database. The additions and updates range from proposed and new construction to spatial adjustments of existing pipelines. Additionally, merger, acquisition, and divestiture activity combined with new project activity resulted in thousands of other updates over the past year. The MAPSearch team focused much of their effort on accurately reflecting new midstream and pipeline infrastructure development in several of the popular unconventional resource plays, including the Eagle Ford Shale, Bakken Shale and Marcellus and Utica Shale formations.
