Marble Slab Creamery Announces Winning Sandra Lee's Taste of Summer Ice Cream Creation

ATLANTA, Oct. 12, /PRNewswire/ -- Marble Slab Creamery is pleased to announce Memorial Day Madness as the winning Sandra Lee's Taste of Summer Tasty Creation.  Marble Slab Creamery teamed up with Sandra Lee to develop a program that raised awareness for Share Our Strength® and introduced 16 new ice cream Tasty Creations throughout the summer combining Marble Slab's freshly made ice cream with delicious mixins.  Marble Slab Creamery is managed by Global Franchise Group, LLC.

Customers were invited to visit www.marbleslab.com to vote for their favorite Tasty Creation and make their own contribution to Share Our Strength. Marble Slab Creamery donated $25,000 to Share Our Strength.

The winning Tasty Creation, Memorial Day Madness, which received the most online votes, will be featured in Sandra Lee's new cookbook "All American Bake Sale," which is set for release in March 2011.
