Molloy joins Siegel+Gale from digital agency Velocidi, where she was chief marketing officer and partner. She previously served as SVP of marketing at Gerson Lehrman Group, the world's leading expert network.
With a deep-rooted technology DNA, she led marketing organizations at Siebel Systems—where she was a member of the Siebel Systems CEO's Circle. Earlier in her career she served as VP of marketing at Telecom Ireland US (eircom).
"Margaret shares the Siegel+Gale commitment to simplicity. She thinks strategically and delivers operationally, executing breakthrough marketing that drives business results," said David Srere, co-CEO and chief strategy officer of Siegel+Gale. "One of the reasons we're excited about her arrival is her client-side experience—she has a deep appreciation for the challenges and opportunities CMOs face, and the strategic role simplicity can play in advancing their business goals."
Molloy is very active in the CMO community and the digital startup ecosystem. Named one of the top CMOs on Twitter, she is a frequent speaker on marketing.
"We were inspired both by Margaret's prolific social media presence and passion for anticipating client needs," said Howard Belk, co-CEO and chief creative officer of Siegel+Gale. "She shares our belief in the power of simplicity and recognizes the value of Siegel+Gale's thought leadership in this area. One of her priorities is to make that intellectual property available to our audiences in new and innovative ways so they can realize the full potential of their own organizations."
Molloy joins Siegel+Gale at an exciting time as it continues to expand globally and grow its capabilities at the intersection of branding and customer experience.
"I was drawn to Siegel+Gale's reputation as a strategic branding firm rooted in the ethos of simplicity," said Molloy. "I recognize the critical importance of building strong brands in today's cluttered marketplace. Siegel+Gale consistently delivers exceptional work to its growing roster of global clients, truly helping to transform organizations and drive business results. I'm proud to be part of the team."
A native of Ireland, Molloy received her MBA from Harvard Business School, and earned her undergraduate degrees from the University of Ulster, United Kingdom, and La Universidad de Valladolid, Spain.
