Marie DiFiore Joins CONNEXION Healthcare as Senior Director of Strategy and Client Services

NEWTOWN, Pa., Oct. 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- CONNEXION Healthcare announces the addition of Marie DiFiore to its senior management team. As Senior Director of Strategy and Client Services, Ms. DiFiore will be responsible for the continued growth and enhancement of the Rare Diseases and Neuroscience business units at CONNEXION Healthcare.

Ms. DiFiore comes to CONNEXION with 20 years of healthcare experience and clinical expertise in complex pharmaceuticals, biotherapeutics, and medical devices. She has worked at several large pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies with functional responsibilities in Sales, Marketing, Portfolio Management, and New Product Commercialization. She has successfully led the launch of five products in the United States and is especially well versed in clinical and regulatory strategy. Ms. DiFiore has also served in several global roles and co-managed in-licensing opportunities as well as product divestitures.

Most recently, Ms. DiFiore served as Director of Critical Care Marketing‒New Products for CSL Behring, where she was responsible for new product commercialization, portfolio management, brand building, and strategic planning. Prior to her work there, she was Associate Director, Nuclear Medicine/Marketing and Radiopharmaceutical Sales for the Bracco Group, where she was responsible for portfolio management, radiopharmaceutical sales, product marketing, and life cycle management. Ms. DiFiore began her career a sales representative for Nycomed Amersham (now GE Healthcare), where her career accomplishments led to a several promotions, including to Product Manager.
