Marietta orthodontist William R. Kincer, DMD, has been named to Atlanta Magazine's 2026 Top Dentists list, published in the magazine's April 2026 issue. Dr. Kincer has devoted his entire professional career to orthodontics and has cared for patients in the West Cobb community since 1989.

MARIETTA, Ga., Oct. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- William R. Kincer, DMD, orthodontist and owner of Kincer Orthodontics in Marietta, Georgia, has been named one of Atlanta Magazine's 2026 Top Dentists. Dr. Kincer was recognized in the orthodontics category of the annual list, which appeared in the magazine's April 2026 issue.

Atlanta Magazine's Top Dentists list is compiled with Professional Research Services, which surveys dental professionals across specialties, including general and pediatric dentistry, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics and endodontics, asking them to identify the dental professionals they consider the best in the Atlanta area. Dentists named to the list are also screened for the standing of their licenses with the Georgia Department of Community Health.

Dr. Russell Kincer has practiced orthodontics exclusively throughout his career. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia in 1978 and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1982, where he went on to complete a two-year postdoctoral orthodontic residency in 1984. He then established a solo orthodontic practice in Albany, Georgia, before relocating to West Cobb in 1989 to be closer to extended family. Since then, he has treated children, teens and adults from Marietta, Acworth, Dallas and the surrounding communities.

At Kincer Orthodontics, Dr. Kincer offers a full range of orthodontic care, including traditional metal braces, clear ceramic braces, Invisalign, and Spark Clear Aligners, early Phase I and Phase II treatment, and surgical orthodontics. Patients know the practice for its conservative, thorough approach and close attention to detail, with treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.

Dr. Kincer's commitment to the community extends beyond his practice. He has served as a volunteer orthodontist at the Ben Massell Dental Clinic in Atlanta and has provided complimentary orthodontic treatment through nonprofit organizations including West Side Elementary School, Marietta Mentoring for Leadership, Marietta City Give Big, Young Life and multiple church and faith based organizations.

"Being named one of Atlanta's Top Dentists is a meaningful honor, particularly because it reflects the opinion of colleagues in our profession," said Dr. Kincer. "I have spent my entire career in orthodontics, and for more than 35 years I have had the privilege of caring for families here in West Cobb. My approach has always been to recommend only the treatment a patient needs and to do that work carefully and thoroughly. I am grateful to our patients for their trust and to our team, who make that standard of care possible every day."
