Marine, Mom of Four, Pastry Chef Among Five Winners in Life Time's First-Ever 60XT Wellness Challenge

Grand prize winners each take home $25,000 in prizes 

CHANHASSEN, Minn., July 21, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Life Time (NYSE: LTH), the nation's premier healthy lifestyle brand, today revealed the five grand prize winners in its inaugural 60XT Challenge, an eight-week body transformation program that inspired more than 25,000 people nationwide to commit to healthier habits.

From a Marine father overcoming injury, to a mom of four rediscovering her confidence, to a pastry chef finding her strength, these stories were among thousands highlighting incredible change resonating deeply across the Life Time community. Each grand prize winner receives $10,000 cash and a prize package valued at $15,000, including a four-night, all-inclusive stay at Breathless Resorts & Spa and premium wellness gear from brands like Garmin, Hyperice, and Normatec.

The 60XT Challenge is designed to help individuals reset and reprioritize their health through expert coaching, community support, and the accountability needed to inspire lasting changes. Participants submitted personal essays chronicling their journeys and finalists were selected by an expert committee. Life Time members then cast their votes in the complimentary Life Time app to determine the five grand prize winners.

Meet the 60XT Winners:

• Raiza Costa – Life Time Dumbo, NY

A pastry chef and mom who felt stuck in a cycle of weight gain and exhaustion, Costa gained new strength and lost 27 pounds through the challenge. With the help of her coaches and a commitment to consistency, she embraced strength training, homemade meals, supplements and a lifestyle including daily movement and recovery.

• Kenneth Crowder – Life Time Cary, NC

A Marine recovering from spine injury, Crowder joined the challenge to become a stronger father and husband. He lost over 30 pounds, cut his body fat in half, gained six pounds of muscle and spent more time with his family through healthy activities.

• Scarlett Espinoza – Life Time Miami at the Falls, FL

After a serious ankle injury left her unable to walk, Espinoza used the 60XT Challenge to rebuild her strength and confidence. With the support of her trainers and community, she dropped 14 pounds, gained six pounds of muscle, and did a leg extension for the first time post-injury after weeks of trying. 

• Bharon Hoag – Life Time Easton, Ohio

A chiropractor who felt disconnected from a healthy lifestyle, Hoag started his journey at 312 pounds. With the guidance of a Life Time trainer, he lost nearly 30 pounds and redefined his mindset while reclaiming his health.

• Chaya Sanders – Life Time Bergen County, NJ

This homeschooling mom of four initially joined Life Time for her children but ended up discovering a life-changing transformation. She lost 20+ pounds and 10% body fat, improved her sleep and digestion and gained the confidence to show up for herself and her family in a whole new way through the 60XT Challenge.
