Mark Mercado Joins SingleHop as Vice President, Channel Sales

Mercado brings a unique combination of technical expertise and strategic relationship skills to his new role at SingleHop.

Mercado's earlier career history includes key strategic alliance and channel sales roles with NaviSite Inc. and Savvis Communications, where he drove millions in sales and was a major national player in the distribution of data center, cloud, security consulting, storage, and managed services. After Savvis, Mercado was director of channel sales and channel chief at Latisys, where he spearheaded development of a channel sales program for eight data centers nationwide, creating, and implementing a highly effective marketing and sales strategy and overseeing a network of 150 partners.

Mercado has been recognized throughout his career for sales and channel development leadership, consistently establishing winning teams and generating well over $100 million in contract revenues. He holds bachelor's degrees in business administration and history from Elmhurst College as well as tech sector certificates, including VMware product certification.
