Carsten will lead the marketing function including Market Scan's branding & PR initiatives. In addition, Carsten will support the sales department in its efforts to develop new business opportunities including facilitating customized OEM and API-based client solutions.

Carsten brings a breath of senior management experience in the area of sales, marketing, branding and PR from holding management and executive positions to include 18 years with esteemed automotive OEM brands. With his Granddad racing Bugattis on gravel in the 1930's, Carsten was destined for the automotive industry. His first foray was 3 years with Peugeot in Europe. After another 3-year stint as a Foreign Service Diplomat with the Royal Danish Consulate in Los Angeles, Carsten spent 6 years with Rolls-Royce and Bentley introducing their client management program and being part of the management team that launched the iconic Bentley Continental in the U.S. One of the highlights of Carsten's career thus far was the introduction of Dutch luxury and supercar brand Spyker in the Americas, for which Carsten was responsible. In his most recent position, Carsten was responsible for marketing, public relations and 5-hour live TV broadcast of the annual Los Angeles Marathon, which was recognized by the Television Academy with a nomination for a 2018 Emmy.
