LOS ANGELES, Nov. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Markwins International is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Ms. Leslie H. Hernandez, as Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Hernandez brings a broad range of experience working in the financial areas of both public and private companies to this newly created senior leadership role at Markwins. In her capacity as CFO, Ms. Hernandez will report directly to company Chairman and CEO, Mr. Eric Chen, while advising the Board of Directors.
Ms. Hernandez was promoted from her previous position as Markwins International Senior Vice President of Finance, a position that she held for the past three years. Prior to that, Ms. Hernandez served for eight years in a similar role for Physicians Formula. During her time at Physicians Formula, Ms. Hernandez also spent a year as Corporate Secretary on the Board of Directors, a role which resolved when the company was acquired by Markwins International in December of 2012.

Prior to joining Markwins International, Ms. Hernandez worked for Deloitte & Touche, LLP, a professional services firm under which dedicated professionals in independent firms throughout the world collaborate to provide audit, consulting, financial advisory, risk management, tax and related services to select clients, where she became a Certified Public Accountant. Her multiple years of experience - over 11 in cosmetics specifically – have given her a deep understanding of the industry, especially as it relates to vendor communications and operations, important areas for the company as it continues its growth across the US and internationally.
