The video is narrated by Baltimore-based actor Steve Blair, who lends his personable and comedic style as he moves into the apartment. Steve helps communicate a subtle storyline with a surprise ending that keeps viewers engaged. The video helps to set guest expectations for a brand whose name affiliation with Marriott may confuse those who are expecting more of a hotel-like experience.
"Because we are part of the Marriott family, guests often expect hotel-like services such as daily housekeeping and room service – which are not a part of our basic offerings," said Adam Sherer, Marriott ExecuStay Vice President. "The ExecuStay experience is more like home … with bi-weekly housekeeping and local information so you can cook at home, dine out or order delivery. Plus, if you're staying for a month or more, an ExecuStay apartment is often a more affordable option than a hotel."
With furnished apartments in more than 700 locations throughout the United States, ExecuStay handles all of the arrangements for a turnkey move-in experience. The brand operates in the upper-moderate pricing tier making it an affordable choice for those on extended stay due to relocation, corporate or government work assignments.
Each spacious one-, two- or three-bedroom ExecuStay apartment comes equipped with:
- Utilities – electric, gas, water and cable
- Free wireless and high speed Internet access
- Full kitchen including essential cookware
- Laundry facilities in room or on site
- Elite Dreamer® bedding
- Television, DVD player
