Hotels near San Francisco Bay to launch fitness concierge, enticing menu of recreational activities and create online community to inspire healthy living on the road.
SAN FRANCISCO, March 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Marriott hotels in the San Francisco Bay area have launched Travel Well to energize their guests' commitment to health and wellness with exciting fitness options, an online support community and on-property fitness concierges.
Participating hotels include San Francisco Marriott Marquis, San Francisco Marriott Airport Waterfront, San Jose Marriott and Santa Clara Marriott. Each San Francisco hotel features a 24-hour fitness center, swimming pool and dedicated fitness concierge to familiarize guests with recreational offerings at that property – ranging from complimentary tennis to bayside biking to in-room yoga.
An Online Community Of Fit-Minded Travelers
Central to the campaign for the San Francisco Bay hotels is the introduction of an online community, #MarriottTravelWell, to support and inspire healthy and memorable travel.

Every Friday throughout March, Marriott will reward one #MarriottTravelWell member with a Fitbit fitness tracking device for his or her contribution to the online community.
The Travel Well package will be offered at participating hotels. It features:
- Overnight accommodations promoting rest and relaxation.
- Complimentary spa water and fresh fruit amenity.
- Complimentary access to an onsite 24-hour fitness center.
- "Fit in the City" guide to recreational activities and fitness opportunities unique to the hotel and region.
- Designated fitness concierge.
