WOODMERE, Ohio, Feb. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Marsh, Berry & Company, Inc. ("MarshBerry") has released its 30th Annual Market & Financial Outlook Report. The survey compiled anonymous general independent agency information including financial performance, market dynamics, and technology, with MarshBerry's proprietary financial management system Perspectives for High Performance ("PHP") data.
The complete report, available for $399, enables independent insurance agencies to highlight key agent and broker performance trends from 2007–2015 with results segmented by revenue size and region. Results from the survey compiled anonymous data from 460 insurance agencies representing an average revenue size of $15.6 million.
"We anticipate positive growth rates based on a relatively good economic and employment outlook. However, we do not expect 2016 growth rates to exceed 2015 results," stated Megan Bosma, Senior Vice President at MarshBerry. As part of the 2015 survey, MarshBerry polled top executives in the insurance industry to determine what challenges will face the industry in the next three to five years. "Top Executives are anticipating the current rate environment will negatively impact their organic growth and that rising interest rates may impact acquisition multiples*."
The five core chapters offer a market overview and outlook. Charts in each section provide information on:
- External Factors: Economy & Market Dynamics
- Expense Management & Profit
- Operations & Productivity
- Merger & Acquisition* and Perpetuation Readiness
