NEW YORK, Nov. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia (NYSE: MSO) and eBay have joined forces to present the Martha Stewart American Made Market, exclusively on eBay, an online marketplace that will spotlight makers, support artisans, and celebrate the handmade. Curated by the original American maker, Martha Stewart, and her team at Martha Stewart Living, the American Made Market will honor a new generation of great American entrepreneurs with a curated ecommerce experience that will include products in categories such as crafts, food, garden, and more.

The Martha Stewart American Made Market on eBay is an extension of Martha Stewart's American Made program, which celebrated its second year this fall. Each week, the editors at Martha Stewart Living magazine will scout for new makers and products to ensure that the assortment reflects consumers' desire for quality craftsmanship and beautifully designed goods that have the Martha Stewart seal of approval.

"We at MSLO want to give consumers access to well-crafted, unique goods, created by new generations of makers and carefully selected by our team. eBay is a terrific partner for us on this journey, as they are giving these artisans a profitable marketplace to sell their goods, tell their stories, and market themselves with the Martha stamp of approval," said Inbar Barak, SVP, Digital Programming and Strategy, MSLO.

"We are thrilled to partner with Martha Stewart's American Made and to bring a wealth of exceptional artisanal goods from American entrepreneurs to our global marketplace," said Marcelle Parrish, Head of eBay Fashion. "eBay connects people to the things they need and love in new ways that help buyers and sellers to get the most out of shopping. This partnership reflects that, giving shoppers access to an expanded selection of incredible inventory and the artisans selected by Martha Stewart's team exposure to our global community of 124 million."
