MAS Alpha Securities Launches MAS Tierra with Acquisition of Meadowlark Ski & Lake Lodge in Wyoming's Bighorn National Forest

New venture under MAS Alpha Securities brings a place-based, land-led hospitality vision to one of the American West's most storied mountain landscapes

MEADOWLARK LAKE, Wyo., May 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- MAS Tierra, a newly formed hospitality venture operating under Miami-based investment firm MAS Alpha Securities, today announced the acquisition of Meadowlark Ski & Lake Lodge, a storied ski and outdoor destination situated within Wyoming's Bighorn National Forest, and administered through a special use authorization with the Bighorn National Forest. The acquisition marks the first initiative under the MAS Tierra banner, establishing a new chapter for the property.

MAS Tierra, founder Jose Mas, Jr. aims to bring Meadowlark Ski & Lake Lodge to life in a new way, via an experience-based approach to hospitality, guided by the surrounding terrain and seasonal rhythms. Under its new stewardship, it is set to open for the 2026-2027 winter season.

Initial proposed plans for experiential elements include a program built around authentic immersion in the Bighorn mountains, with the desire to include future offering of a range of excursions, nature exploration and guided tours through open terrain.
