Massage Heights Westlake Village, located at 2900 Townsgate Road, Suite 210, has served the local community since 2008. On July 1, 2017, local entrepreneurs and new Massage Heights franchisees Kelly Hoyman and Becky Leehey assumed ownership and plan to open a second location in the area in 2018.

Both Hoyman and Leehey are natives of Southern California and have extensive backgrounds in wellness and marketing. Hoyman, who grew up in Thousand Oaks, spent the last 17 years with McDonald's, most recently as a senior marketing director. Leehey resides in Westlake as an active member of the community and spent nearly a decade with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts as executive director of the wellness division. After leaving their corporate jobs, Leehey and Hoyman decided to leverage their background in franchising and luxury brands to open their own business.

Prospective single- and multi-unit franchisees should have $175,000 in liquid assets and minimum $400,000 net worth per location, as well as experience in sales or retail management and managing hourly wage employees. Prospective area representatives should have $375,000 in liquid assets and minimum $600,000 net worth, as well as previous experience in franchising, sales, marketing and operating multiple sites, preferably in the retail, restaurant, hospitality or customer services industries.
