Mattamy Homes Enters Tampa Market With Launch of New Division

TAMPA, FL, Dec. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ - Mattamy Homes, a leading North American homebuilder, is pleased to announce the launch of its newest division – Tampa. 

Mattamy's entrance into the Tampa market is the latest example of the company's commitment to being a major presence in the Florida homebuilding industry, and of its confidence in the future of housing locally.

To lead the company's newest division, Mattamy welcomes aboard Ed Suchora, who joined the team in November as President, Tampa Division. Ed has had an impressive 20-year career in the Florida and area homebuilding industry. He spent the last 15 years with Beazer Homes, most recently as their Division President in Tampa. He also held executive roles with Beazer in land development, and in sales & marketing, across Florida as well as in Georgia and South Carolina. Ed also worked for Pulte Homes in construction and land acquisition roles, mostly in Orlando. He has a Bachelor of Science degree and an MBA from the University of Central Florida.

Ed will be responsible for leading all aspects of Mattamy's business in Tampa. Initially this will include sourcing acquisitions and significantly building the company's land base in the area. Ed will be setting up the local Mattamy office, hiring staff and quickly growing Tampa into an operating division.
