Phoenix Business Journal recognizes homebuilder for award-winning culture and employee
programs through 2025 Best Place to Work recognition
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Oct. 20, 2025 /PRNewswire/ - Mattamy Homes, the largest family-owned homebuilder in North America, is honored to be recognized as one of the Phoenix Business Journal's Best Places to Work for the fifth consecutive year.
This year, Mattamy Homes was selected from a competitive pool of 195 nominations, with only 96 businesses, nonprofits and organizations named as honorees. As a winner in the small company category (50–99 employees), Mattamy was one of 20 companies celebrated in this category.
"Being named one of the Best Places to Work for the fifth year in a row is something truly special," said Don Barrineau, President of Mattamy's Phoenix Division. "I feel fortunate to work with such an incredible team. Every day, they bring kindness, dedication and a spirit of collaboration to everything we do. This recognition reflects the culture we've built together and our shared commitment to giving our homeowners the best experience possible."
Honorees were selected based on comprehensive employee feedback collected by Quantum Workplace, with high marks in team effectiveness, trust, manager engagement and workplace satisfaction.
Mattamy's ongoing commitment to its people is reflected in the programs, perks and culture that make it a rewarding place to work.
Program Highlights at Mattamy Homes:
- Employee Home Ownership Program: Mattamy supports its team members in purchasing their own Mattamy home, offering up to 4.5% of the purchase price (up to $40,000) to help make homeownership more attainable for team members. Team members are eligible to use this unique benefit every five years.
