Matthew Giza Promoted to Executive Vice President and General Manager of Cogmedix

WORCESTER, Mass., Sept. 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Cogmedix, a wholly owned subsidiary of Coghlin Companies Inc., and an FDA compliant medical device engineering and manufacturing services provider, has promoted Matthew Giza to Executive Vice President and General Manager.

Over the last five years he has worked diligently with Coghlin Companies' leadership to successfully build a strong core management team with vast technical competency across all levels of the organization. Cogmedix has undergone two successful FDA inspections and recently completed a very successful inspection from ANVISA under Giza's leadership as well. Cogmedix has an outstanding track record of compliantly launching new, innovative and complex devices for well capitalized start-ups and globally recognized medical and dental innovators.

Giza joined Cogmedix in 2010 from Zygo Corporation's Optical Systems Division where he served as Director of Sales and Marketing. Prior to that Giza was Director of Worldwide Sales and Service for GSI Group's optical scanning product line.
