Mavenlink Announces Two New Executive Team Leaders to Support Continued Aggressive Growth and Market-Leading Innovation

IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Mavenlink, the leading provider of project management and resource planning software and a Gartner 2015 Cool Vendor*, announced today that it has expanded its executive team with the addition of two industry leaders with proven track records of scaling technology companies: Michael Lin (CFO) and JB Steadman (SVP, Engineering). These executives will be based out of Mavenlink's Irvine and San Francisco offices.

The two new executive additions are as follows:

Michael Lin, Chief Financial Officer: Michael Lin brings 20 years of finance and accounting experience in SaaS and technology companies to Mavenlink. As CFO, he will play a vital role in Mavenlink's growth, directing financial strategy, business planning, and operations. Prior to joining Mavenlink, Michael was the CFO of Cake Marketing, helping drive the dramatic growth of the early-stage SaaS analytics business. Michael has also served as CFO of both Uniloc and Gehry Technologies, the latter of which he helped take from early-stage startup through a successful acquisition by Trimble Navigation. Prior to that, as VP of Finance and Planning at enterprise search company Fast Search and Transfer, Lin helped grow the enterprise to more than $200M in revenue and 800 employees before Microsoft acquired the company for $1.2B.

JB Steadman, Senior Vice President of Engineering: JB Steadman brings 20 years of valuable engineering and operations experience to Mavenlink. He is responsible for driving the company's technology vision and innovative software development practices, while continuing to scale the engineering team. Prior to Mavenlink, JB served as a Sr. Engineering Director at Pivotal Labs, a leading technology services provider renowned for its innovative approach to software development that has shaped the foundation of many of Silicon Valley's most valuable companies. At Pivotal, JB was responsible for the company's strategic growth and international expansion in Singapore and the U.K.

The new executive team members are being announced following a record-breaking 2015 for Mavenlink. In 2015 Mavenlink announced a $19M round of funding to fuel growth, totaling $40M of venture capital raised to date.
