Max Hawthorne's "Kronos Rising" Joins The Ranks Of Amazon Prime Reading

NEW HOPE, Pa., Oct. 3, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Best-selling paleo fiction author Max Hawthorne's "Kronos Rising" (https://www.amazon.com/Max-Hawthorne/e/B00FO5X1PM/ref=dp_byline_cont_book_1) was recently invited to join Amazon's prestigious Prime Reading List, an honor bestowed upon a select group of popular top-selling authors whose books have caught the attention of readers and critics alike.

Prime Readers can choose from this exclusive list of 1,000 books worldwide as part of their membership. Hawthorne's novels center around mankind's struggles to survive in a world where prehistoric marine predators have re-entered today's oceans.

According to Hawthorne, AKA the "Prince of Paleofiction", as he's popularly known, "I couldn't be more honored and thrilled with this invitation. As an indie author, who wouldn't want to be a part of this circle of legendary authors and rub shoulders with the likes of JK Rowling and Scott Pratt!"

Hawthorne, whose latest novel, "Kronos Rising: Kraken (Volume 2)" was just released, added, "I'm not sure what brought me to this exciting place, but I will continue to feed my voracious and loyal fans with more of the action and adventure they have now come to expect! I just hope I can live up to everyone's expectations!"

Historically, each of Hawthorne's five novels has scaled at least one Amazon bestseller list, with two of them winning Book of the Year/People's Choice Awards. Publisher's Weekly/Booklife proclaimed "Kronos Rising" …. "worthy of sitting on the shelves next to Peter Benchley's JAWS." As with any blockbuster story, the film adaptation is something his readers are anticipating with bated breath.

Brooklyn born animator-turned-author, Hawthorne considers himself something of an oddity: a passionate rock hound and conservationist who eschews coffee for tea, and who likes to spend his days seated in a folding chair, shore fishing his favorite lake while editing his current manuscript.

The "Kronos Rising" series is available from Far From The Tree Press, LLC  through Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
