Maxine Winer Appointed General Manager of Fleishman-Hillard Chicago

ST. LOUIS, Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Fleishman-Hillard International Communications has named Maxine Winer as the new general manager of its Chicago office, the agency announced today.

Winer, who brings more than 20 years of communications experience to her new role, will oversee the firm's Chicago operations, with particular emphasis on providing senior strategic counsel to clients, recruiting staff and driving the office's new business initiatives. She succeeds Cynthia Hardie, who recently retired from the position.

Winer will report to Susan Veidt, president of the firm's central U.S. region. She comes to Fleishman-Hillard from Edelman, where she served as deputy general manager and led the reputation management practice in the firm's Chicago office. In addition to leading teams that served several of the agency's top clients, she served as regional lead for implementing a new global financial system.

She previously has held positions with Manning Selvage & Lee, PNC Mortgage Corp. and The Financial Relations Board.
