May Is For Mom On Discovery Familia

MIAMI, May 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Discovery Familia, the only Spanish-language network dedicated to Hispanic moms in the United States, will celebrate Mother's Day with special programming that will air Sunday, May 13, beginning at 9 PM E/P.

Although Discovery Familia celebrates Hispanic moms all year long, this particular month the network ramps up its efforts airing its series of original shorts, "What I learned from Mom." These heartfelt spots showcase kids of all ages expressing how their moms inspired them and what they mean to them.

This series, full of surprises and useful beauty tips, tries to prove that anyone can look and feel like a cover girl with the right ingredients: hairstyling, makeup and clothes. Each episode transforms one lucky woman into a cover girl in the blink of an eye.
