CYPRESS, Calif., Feb. 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Maya Toys announced its plans to decorate a vehicle with pom-poms at Toy Fair 2016 in New York City this week. The event is designed to showcase the company's new Pom Pom Wow product line, reinforcing the brand's ability to fulfill girls' desire to put their personal stamp on most anything they own.
Maya Toys will apply thousands of pom-poms to a vehicle showcased within the North Concourse of the Javits Center. "This event is all about showing how consumers can use the product to pom-pom their world," said Jennifer Strick, Maya Toys' director of marketing. "If we can pom-pom a car, girls can certainly pom-pom their rooms, their favorite possessions and more."
A videography team will record footage of the pom-pom application process, making available to media contacts video clips capturing time-lapsed views of the car in its various states of décor. In addition, members of the media are invited to schedule an exclusive filming appointment, to include use of a pom-pom-adorned jacket that may be worn for additional content opportunities.
As part of the event, Maya Toys will host an on-site photographic contest challenging show attendees to shoot and upload the most creative "selfie" with inclusion of the pom-pom vehicle in the imagery.
The event will commence on Saturday, February 13, and conclude the following Tuesday. Attendees are encouraged to access the event by entering from the Inner Roadway of the Javits Center, adjacent to 11th Avenue.
