Mayor Nutter Announces Aggressive Growth Plan for Mark Group

PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Three years after welcoming global energy efficiency installer Mark Group to Philadelphia, Mayor Michael A. Nutter yesterday revealed the company's aggressive plans for growth in the US and expansion at the company's Philadelphia Navy Yard headquarters.

Mark Group is a partner in Mayor Nutter's trade mission to the United Kingdom, sponsoring an executive roundtable discussion in London to share industry best practices and hear how Philadelphia is positioning itself as a natural hub for energy efficiency companies and research organizations.

Mayor Nutter is joined on his mission by Deputy Mayor for Economic Development, Alan Greenberger, who said, "Mark Group is a case study in how Philadelphia works to promote our city, attract new businesses, and grow jobs for our residents."

The goal of the mission is to persuade other international companies who are looking to locate in North America, to choose Philadelphia because of its many assets and robust network.
