Mayorga Coffee's Farmer Friendly(R) Coffee To Be Available in Sam's Club(R) Locations Nationwide

ROCKVILLE, Md., May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Mayorga Coffee announces its Farmer Friendly® Coffee is available exclusively in 300 Sam's Club locations nationwide this May. The Farmer Friendly® brand is an extension of Mayorga's progressive sourcing approach, bridging the gap between farmer and consumer by establishing direct relationships with farmers who emphasize on sustainable practices, while growing top-quality Specialty coffee.  Through this collaboration, Sam's Club members have exclusive access to this Rainforest Alliance certified coffee, carefully grown by the farmers at the El Recreo Estate in Jinotega, Nicaragua, roasted with care by Mayorga, and packaged in 2.5lb bags of whole bean, medium roast coffee.  

Mayorga's streamlined process of sourcing green coffees creates economic efficiencies which allow the company to support farming communities by paying fair prices for top quality beans, while also providing funds for social and economic projects.  In addition, Mayorga will donate $30,000 to the El Recreo Estate for:

• Programs and tools to enhance its technical training of local farmers
• Supporting teachers' training for the on-site primary school
• Supplies for all of the farm's school children
• Supplies for the farm's daycare
