NEW YORK, Aug. 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Singleton Beato, Chief Diversity & Engagement Officer at McCann Worldgroup, was honored today as this year's winner of the prestigious Gladiator Award at The Face of Talent, the advertising and communications industry's premier event to celebrate and engage top diverse talent. The multi-day symposium, which was established in 2011 as a catalyst for agency leaders and their clients, is sponsored by the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4A's) and its Multicultural Advertising Intern Program (MAIP) initiative.
The Gladiator Award recognizes industry professionals "who have been steadfast and unyielding in their pursuit to challenge conventional wisdom and transcend the status quo" and "who embody the highest standard of excellence in their organization and community."

She previously had been Executive VP, Diversity Strategy and Talent Development at the 4A's.
Her career accomplishments, for which she was recognized with the Gladiator Award, have included leading the transformation of MAIP and the 4A's Foundation, as well as the development of The Face Of Talent symposium and the industry's only national Talent Leadership Conference, Talent@2030. She has received numerous accolades for her work from the American Advertising Federation, ADCOLOR and the World Diversity Leadership Summit.
