NORTH CANTON, Ohio, June 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Diebold, Incorporated (NYSE: DBD) today announced Rachel V. McClary has been named vice president, global marketing. An experienced marketing executive, McClary will lead the company's marketing functions globally, driving messaging and brand development, digital strategy and aligning the sales organization to execute programs that drive demand, loyalty and thought leadership.

McClary joins Diebold from CSC, a provider of next generation IT infrastructure services, cloud computing, cyber security, big data, consulting and industry-focused application solutions. In that role, she was responsible for the marketing organization across Canada, the United States and Latin America. Prior to CSC, McClary held senior marketing leadership positions with several other IT software and services leaders including Acronis, EMC and Hewlett-Packard.
McClary received her doctorate degree in decision science and marketing from Capella University in Minneapolis. She has a bachelor's degree in international affairs and German from the University of New Hampshire and a master's degree in business administration from Colorado State University. She will report to John Kristoff, Diebold vice president and chief communications officer.
