McCord Research Announces Company Advancement With New Hire of Local Pharmacist

CORALVILLE, Iowa, Oct. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- McCord Research has expanded its research and development division to pursue the future of innovative healing. The company has hired a master in the healthcare and research fields who was educated locally in Iowa.

McCord Research has recently employed Kyle Hilsabeck BA, PharmD, as the Vice President of Pharmaceutical Affairs. He joins the company to assist the science team in formulation and product development using the most up-to-date research and practice guidelines. He also serves as faculty to educate healthcare providers on the safe and appropriate use of the products.

Hilsabeck comes with a wealth of education and experience both clinical and scientific. He is an Iowa native, originally from Marshalltown, Iowa, who received his Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry in 2006 from Wartburg College in Waverly, IA. In 2011, he received his Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy, completed a postgraduate residency in Mt. Vernon and Cedar Rapids pharmacies and was a Clinical Pharmacist with Hy-Vee for the past year. "I hope to utilize my experiences, share my ideas, collaborate with, and learn from our team members so that we can continue to provide cutting edge, high quality, scientifically, and clinically sound products that benefit and improve the health of the public," Hilsabeck said.
