MCG Announces New EHR Integration for CareWebQI® 5.0

SEATTLE, Feb. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- MCG (formerly Milliman Care Guidelines and now part of the Hearst Health network) has certified the integration of CareWebQI 5.0, its evidence-based care planning, documentation, and performance improvement tool, with the 2014 release of EpicCare Inpatient.

EpicCare Inpatient is now capable of delivering full CareWebQI 5.0 functionality as well as care guideline content to support clinical decision-making and documentation in the medical record. The integration allows hospitals that use EpicCare Inpatient and license CareWebQI 5.0 to review care guidance in the context of the care episode, document evidence-based decisions, and save that documentation for review by other members of the care team.
