McGlinchey Stafford Elects Laura Greco as a Member of the Firm

ALBANY, N.Y., Jan. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- McGlinchey Stafford is pleased to announce the election of Laura Greco as a Member of the firm.

Greco represents banks, mortgage companies, and other financial institutions in the areas of commercial finance, banking operations, and consumer financial services compliance and litigation. She is licensed to practice in New York and California, and practices from the firm's Albany and Irvine offices. Prior to joining McGlinchey Stafford in 2009, Greco served as Deputy General Counsel for the New York State Consumer Protection Board.

With extensive experience in consumer financial services compliance and litigation, Greco advises banks and financial institutions on consumer financial services issues, including licensing and regulatory compliance matters, and represents financial institutions in state and federal court. She has experience advising servicers on default servicing and foreclosure issues nationwide, as well as on vendor management and compliance with state and federal laws.

Additionally, Greco has extensive knowledge of chattel (manufactured housing) lending and serves as editor of McGlinchey Stafford's Manufactured Housing Update. She also works with tiny home lenders in addressing the unique issues of this market segment.

Greco received her J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 2000, where she was a member of the Southern California Law Review. She received her B.S.F.S., cum laude, from Georgetown University in 1997.
