McGlinchey Stafford's Commercial Litigation Group Adds Barry McCain in Dallas

DALLAS, Sept. 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- McGlinchey Stafford PLLC is pleased to announce that Barry A. McCain has joined the firm's Dallas office and national Commercial Litigation practice group as an Associate.

McCain's commercial litigation practice focuses primarily on consumer financial services litigation, including alleged violations of state and federal consumer statutes. He has represented financial institutions and lenders in matters involving the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Texas Debt Collection Act (TDCA), and Texas Property Code. He has also litigated title disputes and breach-of-contract claims.

McCain received his J.D. from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2014. Prior to entering law school, McCain worked for a national bank in its capital finance division, and as a financial analyst. He also has prior experience in the insurance industry. During law school, Barry worked as an intern at a legal publishing company and assisted with The Winning Brief and the 10th edition of Black's Law Dictionary, among other projects. He is a 2006 graduate of the University of Dallas, where he received his B.A. in Economics, cum laude.
