NEW YORK, June 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- McGlinchey Stafford PLLC is pleased to announce the addition of three attorneys to its New York City office and Commercial Litigation practice group:

Anthony Rollo, Chair of the firm's national Commercial Litigation practice group, commented on McGlinchey Stafford's continued expansion in New York City: "The addition of these highly talented attorneys in our New York City office strengthens our growing national Commercial Litigation team. Cheverko, Of Counsel, has more than 15 years of experience advising and representing primarily financial institutions in complex commercial litigation matters in New York and Connecticut. Her commercial litigation practice also includes the areas of lender liability, products liability, and class actions. She received her J.D., cum laude, in 2000 from the Pace University School of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Pace Law Review. Cheverko also received her B.B.A., magna cum laude, from Pace University in 1986.

Samon, Of Counsel, represents major financial institutions in consumer finance and real estate litigation matters in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts in New York and New Jersey. He has extensive experience in commercial litigation in a wide variety of fields, including antitrust, white collar criminal defense, regulatory investigations, and securities litigation. Samon is a graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law, where he received his J.D., cum laude, in 2004, and was an Editor of the Seton Hall Law Review. He received his B.S., with high honors, from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2001.

Romano, Associate, practices in the areas of state and federal commercial and banking litigation, complex bankruptcy matters, and bankruptcy litigation. She advises and represents banks, financial institutions, and other commercial entities in connection with financial and payment systems litigation, retail and wholesale banking, and contract matters. She received her J.D. and her M.B.A. from Pace University School of Law and Pace University Lubin School of Business, respectively, in 2009. Romano is also a 2005 graduate of Hamilton College, where she earned her B.A.

McGlinchey Stafford's New York City office was established in 2014 to better serve the legal needs of key clients in the Northeast region in the areas of financial services, business, general civil litigation, and bankruptcy, and has grown to a current headcount of 15 attorneys.
