NEW YORK and BLOOMINGTON, Ind., Sept. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- McGraw-Hill Higher Education today announced an instructional services agreement with Indiana University that will bring McGraw-Hill Higher Education's library of rich digital content to the entire institution. This marks the first institution-wide partnership for McGraw-Hill Higher Education's Learning Solutions Group, a team of specialized consultants offering the full breadth of resources today's higher education institutions desire to succeed. The Learning Solutions Group advises colleges and universities on topics ranging from incorporating digital educational tools to providing professional development resources, teacher training and developmental education services.

"Colleges and universities across the country face a wide range of challenges," said Tom Malek, vice president, Learning Solutions, McGraw-Hill Higher Education. "We have the resources and expertise to support institutions and instructors as they work to increase students' achievement.  By deepening our relationships with leading institutions like Indiana University we can continue to drive educational progress."

As part of the agreement, Indiana University instructors can seamlessly incorporate McGraw-Hill Higher Education's digital tools to enhance classroom instruction and use course management platforms to reduce administrative time.  The agreement underscores McGraw-Hill's strategy to move to a subscription model for ebooks and software – students will be charged for course materials and tools as part of their tuition fee.  Emphasizing Indiana University's commitment to digital education, ebooks will be offered at discounts unique to the University.
