McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP Welcomes Cathy A. Harper Back to the Firm as a Senior Strategic Advisor and Independent Consultant

ATLANTA, June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Cathy A. Harper, a former associate at McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP (MLA), has returned to the firm as a senior strategic advisor and independent consultant in MLA's Public Policy and Regulatory Affairs practice.

As a member of MLA's National Government Affairs practice, Harper will focus her practice on international public policy, supply chain management issues and public-private partnership projects.

Before rejoining MLA, Harper held senior legal, government affairs and strategy positions at UPS. While at UPS, she oversaw the acquisition of more than 30 companies worldwide and had responsibility for the company's global trade, aviation and international government relations matters. Prior to joining UPS, Harper served as vice president and general counsel of Elavon, now a subsidiary of U.S. Bancorp.

Harper, a native of Georgia, earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Valdosta State University and a law degree from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University.
