Slaughter to Retire, Younger Becomes President & CEO, Hockman Joins Executive Leadership Team
WASHINGTON, May 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- After founding and dedicating nearly 25 years to transforming McKinley Advisors from niche affinity marketing agency to the 40-person, global market leader McKinley is today, Jodie Slaughter, FASAE will retire and transition to an advisory role effective March 1, 2018. Slaughter will chair McKinley's advisory board, entrusting the day-to-day leadership of the firm to her long-time business partner, Jay Younger, FASAE. This transition signifies the realization of a long-term vision for McKinley's future.
Slaughter has helped mission-based organizations address their most critical business challenges since founding the industry's largest association-focused research and strategy firm, McKinley Advisors, in 1994. As a Fellow of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), former Chair of ASAE Business Services, Inc. and recipient of the ASAE Academy of Leaders Award, Slaughter is known throughout the association community for her expansive network, integrity, and business acumen.
Younger assumes the role of president and CEO effective June 1, 2017, and will be responsible for the firm's continued growth and success. Managing partner and chief consultant since 2007, Younger has served as a trusted advisor to many of the world's leading associations, including ASAE, American Chemical Society, American College of Healthcare Executives, American Institute of Architects, and the National Retail Federation. Like Slaughter, Younger is recognized in the association community as an ASAE Fellow and is currently a director of ASAE Business Services, Inc.
McKinley is also pleased to announce the acquisition of association consultancy the d3 Group. d3 group founder, Jon Hockman, FASAE, a widely-recognized advisor and strategist to the association and nonprofit community, will join the firm as principal on June 1, 2017.
