MDC Partners Hires Anne Bologna as Managing Director

NEW YORK, Dec. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- MDC Partners Inc. announced today that they have hired Anne Bologna as a Managing Director. In this role, Ms. Bologna will be responsible for a portfolio that includes several of the advertising, branding and research companies in the group.

MDC has grown dramatically recently, adding almost 20 partner firms to its team of best-of-breed marketing companies in just the last two years. Ms. Bologna is part of the group's strategic commitment to build its operating team, which began with the addition of David Dabill as Chief Administrative Officer in July. Ms. Bologna is Dabill's second significant hire in the area, following Brett Colbert who came onboard recently as Chief Procurement Officer.

Ms. Bologna joins MDC Partners from Cramer-Krasselt, New York, where she served as EVP/General Manager. Before that, she was Founding Partner and CEO of independent agency Toy. Over its nearly five-year run, Toy, New York garnered numerous industry accolades and attracted clients such as Amazon, Budweiser, Virgin Mobile, Macy's and Google.

Prior to that, Ms. Bologna spent much of her 25 years in the advertising business at Fallon; first as Director of Strategic Planning for their Minneapolis office and later as President of their New York office, where she nearly doubled the agency's billings and transformed the outpost into one of the top 10 most awarded agencies in the world.
