Measured Progress Names Richard Swartz to Senior Vice President Position
DOVER, N.H., Feb. 23 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Measured Progress is pleased to announce that Richard Swartz has assumed the position of senior vice president, strategy, products, and portfolio. Swartz will provide strategic leadership to the Dover, New Hampshire-based company, with a special focus on developing products and services to improve teaching and learning.
A native of Pennsylvania, Swartz is a veteran assessment professional and educator. Before entering the assessment arena, he taught writing at the community college and university levels. During his 25 years in the testing industry, he has distinguished himself as a leader in the areas of assessment research and development, technology, and the creation of innovative products for both the domestic and international markets.
From 1988 to 2005, Swartz worked with Educational Testing Service, where he held positions ranging from senior development leader to president of ETS Technologies, Inc. He comes to Measured Progress after five years at Riverside Publishing, where he most recently served as president.
