MECANMED Announces ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 Certifications Covering Medical Equipment Sales

NQA-assessed certificates for Guangzhou MeCan Medical Limited define sales scopes across multiple medical equipment categories and are valid through May 2029

GUANGZHOU, China, Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- MECANMED, the brand of Guangzhou MeCan Medical Limited, today announced that Guangzhou MeCan Medical Limited obtained ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 certifications on May 6, 2026. The certificates apply to defined sales activities for medical equipment and consumables and are valid through May 5, 2029, subject to continued conformity and surveillance assessments.

The ISO 9001 certificate (No. F01926Q00477R002) covers sales of a broad range of medical equipment and consumables, including medical imaging, operating room and intensive care, emergency, hemodialysis, in vitro diagnostic, laboratory, dental, ophthalmic, ward, sterilization and disinfection, medical gas, veterinary, medical teaching, home healthcare, medical waste treatment and other specified categories within permitted qualifications. The ISO 13485 certificate (No. 135789) covers sales of designated medical device categories listed in the certificate and annex.

Both management systems were assessed and registered by NQA. The certificates carry the UKAS Management Systems accreditation mark for applicable accredited activities under NQA accreditation certificate 015.
