MedBridge Launches Neurologic Clinical Specialist (NCS) Certification Prep Program for Physical Therapists

SEATTLE, Oct. 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- MedBridge, an industry-leading developer of clinical education and patient engagement software, released a new Neurologic Clinical Specialist (NCS) Prep Program designed to prepare clinicians for the board certification exam issued by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

The NCS Prep Program extends the MedBridge Certification Prep Program offering, which also includes programs for SCS (sports), OCS (orthopedics), and GCS (geriatrics) specializations. The programs have been highly successful in helping to elevate the field of physical therapy. To date, 100 percent of MedBridge subscribers who have completed a MedBridge Certification Prep Program have passed their board certification exam, compared to the 76.8 percent national average.^1,2 

NCS certification distinguishes physical therapists with advanced clinical knowledge, experience, and skill in neurologic practice. This experience allows therapists to advance their career, better treat patients in their specialty and stay up-to-date with the latest research and technology.
