The U.S. Chamber of Commerce takes the fight for free enterprise on the road.

WASHINGTON, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- On Friday, September 18, 2026, at 10:30 AM, the Free Enterprise Express will launch from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C. This event marks the official launch of the U.S. Chamber's Opportunity Tour, part of the Chamber's New Fight for Free Enterprise initiative, a multi-year strategic effort to defend, protect, and promote free enterprise.

The Free Enterprise Express will set off on a six-week journey through key cities and states to drive the debate about what it takes for people, businesses, and communities to thrive. In partnership with our state and local chamber members, the Free Enterprise Express will visit the businesses whose ideas, products, and services help make each community stronger, more vibrant, and uniquely their own. The Free Enterprise Express will also make stops in support of political candidates who are committed to defending free enterprise and supporting pro-growth policies.

As Americans face real economic challenges and consider the choices that will shape the country's future, the Opportunity Tour will showcase how free enterprise-driven growth raises living standards and solves problems at scale, for everyone. The U.S. Chamber will put a national spotlight on the local leaders, candidates, employers, and workers fueling growth and opportunity across America.
