The APAX IP accelerates throughput of memory, I/O, and storage by 2X to 8X for high-performance computing (HPC) and cloud computing, as well as consumer electronics and mobile devices performing applications such as image acquisition, video processing, and 3D graphics.

The Samplify APAX demonstration at ARM TechCon 2012 delivers a 200 percent boost in performance for a gesture recognition algorithm running on the ARM Cortex-A9 processor.  When the Samplify APAX technology is enabled in hardware, the frame rate increases by more than 200 percent, allowing recognition of fast moving gestures for gaming, consumer electronics, and a variety of industrial and defense applications.
