Lord & Taylor will unveil its annual Christmas Windows on November 14th, 2011 with performances along Fifth Avenue by Kathie Lee Gifford and the Young People's Chorus of New York City™, conducted by its Artistic Director and Founder, Francisco J. BACKGROUND:

With the theme "What is Christmas Made Of?" Lord & Taylor asked children from Women In Need shelters and local schools to draw what they believe Christmas is made of.  The mechanical holiday windows are inspired by these drawings and will feature 125 of the original drawings.

Kathie Lee Gifford, co-host on NBC's Today show, will help the retailer unveil the windows. Gifford will sing with the Young People's Chorus followed by an in-store appearance to meet customers and sign copies of her new book The Three Gifts and her ornament collection, exclusive to Lord & Taylor.

Prior to the unveiling, the Young People's Chorus of NYC will perform "What is Christmas Made Of" a holiday song composed exclusively for Lord & Taylor.  Simultaneously, most Lord & Taylor stores throughout the chain will host local student choral groups to perform the special song. All of the performances will be recorded and posted on the site for viewing.
