Media Executive David Nicholson Joins ViewLift as Vice President of Sales
Platform continues to expand with strategic executive appointments
NEW YORK, Aug. 29, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- ViewLift, a leading digital content distribution and monetization platform, has appointed David Nicholson as VP Sales to further develop its growing portfolio of video-centric customers and partners. He will join Lloyd Jacobs in the new ViewLift sales team, reporting to Rick Allen, CEO of ViewLift & SnagFilms.
David Nicholson joins ViewLift bringing over 25 years of sports, media, technology, and entertainment experience. David comes to ViewLift after a successful stint at IBM where he was an integral part of the revenue team through the Clearleap (OTT platform) acquisition. Prior to Clearleap/IBM, David was co-founder and president of Ski TV Network – one of the world's first OTT/IPTV networks where he led that successful business for over a decade. David ran business development for Activision Entertainment Software prior to starting Ski TV Network. Early in his sports media career, David worked for one of the world's most prominent sports marketing firms, Octagon, as well as National Hockey League.
