Medical Staffing Network and Kool 105.5 Announce First "Nurse of the Month" Contest Winner

BOCA RATON, Fla., Nov. 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Medical Staffing Network (MSN) Healthcare, LLC announced that the Company has partnered with local West Palm Beach radio station Kool 105.5 to co-sponsor a new, ongoing Nurse of the Month contest to honor exceptional local nurses. The contest was promoted during drive-time radio (the "Mo and Sally Show"), and nominations were open to the public via the station's website.

September's Nurse of the Month winner was Eileen Moyton, LPN, from Loxahatchee, FL. Recently, one of Eileen's patients, a four-year-old boy, complained of belly pain late at night and needed a new G-Tube. Desperate and not knowing where to turn, his mother called Eileen. Eileen called around and found another mom who had the needed size. The patient's mom asked for the address, but Eileen replied, "I'm already on my way there." On her night off, Eileen drove from her home in Loxahatchee to Boca Raton (about 30 miles each way), picked up the G-Tube, and met the boy's mom five minutes from her house at 11:48 pm.
