Operating under secure file transfer protocol (SFTP), MedicsConnect allows for transcribed reports to be transmitted to referring physicians, making them immediately available to be uploaded into the referring physicians' EHRs. 

The expense of having to implement dozens of customized HL7 interfaces is alleviated with MedicsConnect.  It gives radiology practices a robust marketing capability while providing major benefits to their referring physicians.
