Medisafe Announces Launch of Biometric Integration, Enabling Patients to Stay Adherent to Their Meds and See Tangible Health Results

BOSTON, April 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Medisafe™, the leading global medication management platform with over 1.5 million users across iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, announces today that it has begun integrating biofeedback into the platform to allow patients to track and correlate their adherence directly with health outcomes. For the first time, patients will be able to visualize in real-time how taking medication or missing a dose impacts important biometrics, such as glucose levels and blood pressure.

From the outset, users could add a MedFriend, a family, friend and/or caregiver that receive notifications in case of a missed dose.
