Medmarc Insurance Enhances West Coast Presence with Addition of New California Underwriter

CHANTILLY, Va., June 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Medmarc today announced that Cathie Speakman, a seasoned underwriter with significant experience working with the life sciences industry, has joined the Medmarc Life Sciences Underwriting Team. Speakman will be located in Northern California and will be dedicated to servicing California, Oregon, and Washington. The addition of Speakman positions Medmarc for continued growth in that region.

Speakman brings more than a decade of underwriting experience to the company, and most recently held senior underwriting positions in the Life Sciences Practices of both CNA Insurance and Chubb Insurance.
