MedRhythms Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer, Brian Harris, Named 2025 Fellow of the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM)

The honor recognizes Mr. Harris for his outstanding contributions to the field of rehabilitation medicine and his leadership in advancing neurorehabilitation through music, neuroscience, and technology.

The Fellow of ACRM distinction is awarded to ACRM members who have an outstanding record of service to the organization and have made contributions of national significance to the field of medical rehabilitation science and practice. Mr. Harris has demonstrated outstanding service to ACRM including clinical, research, and administrative contributions including introducing the field of Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT) at the ACRM Annual Conference in 2015 and co-founding and serving as Chair of the Arts and Neuroscience Networking Group.

Mr. Harris began his career by founding the NMT program at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston, MA, and grew it into the most comprehensive program of its kind in the country. He then founded MedRhythms to better address the large and growing need to provide NMT services. To date, MedRhythms clinicians have performed over 75,000 hours of direct patient care.
