(SBS) (Nasdaq: SBSA), is announcing that the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, through its Suncoast chapter, has honored our station with two Emmy® nominations in the field of special programs, for the "Big Band Nunez" and "Elain Volando Alto" "Mega Especiales" based on the music and career of singer/songwriters Pavel Nunez and Elain.
Mega Especiales is an initiative headed by channel executives Maria Isabel Montoya (Director of Creative Services and On-Air Promotions. Winner of 15 Suncoast Chapter Emmys and multiple nominations for On-Air Promotions, Image Campaigns, Entertainment Programs & PSA's) and Euridice Ventura (VP for Affiliates and Marketing at SBS. In recognition of television excellence, MegaTV has been nominated for 2013 Regional Emmy® Awards. The nominations were announced by the Suncoast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences on October 9th. The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday, November 23rd.
